One Step Beyond

Has anyone here seen a series called "One Step Beyond?" It was a series in the Twilight Zone/Outer Limits vein. I got the entire series for Christmas and was wondering if anyone else is familiar with it?

I've never seen it or heard of it, but I love the Twilight Zone, so I might have to check it out if I ever get Netflix!

Thanks for giving me yet another TV series I need to watch - my list will already keep me busy for years to come!

The gimmick with this one was that all the stories were supposed to be true and usually dealt with the paranormal. The quality is so-so since it was a 50's series but it's kinda cool. I had no idea it existed either prior to getting it.

"Airing nine months before the similar The Twilight Zone, Alcoa Presents: One Step Beyond was an American anthology television series broadcast on the ABC network from 1959 through 1961."

Yeah it's in that vein. Each episode has a little commercial for Alcoa espousing the wonder of aluminum. There are also a few well-known actors in these: Cloris Leachman, Warren Beatty, Suzanne Pleshette etc., but the host is definitely no Rod Serling.

Just saw an ad that they have full episodes of Night Gallery now available at NBC.com.
