My rememberance of growing up and attenting an School here in Steuben County that in Winter times from the first to the last snowflake there seemed to always be snow on the ground and as for jackets they were put away and out from the closets came parkas to wear.

The same with ice anywhere on Hamilton Lake, once ice had safely formed fish houses could be seen and would be scattered over parts of the lake. Even when the cold weather was ending and people were once again just wearing jackets, there were fish houses yet on the lake. Ha,and yes, some had even dared the just jacket weather for far to long. More than once I can recall they had to git a team together to go fishing for their fish house:burnout:

But maybe this is an good thing from the rememberances of what I remember of Winters then as to what WLKI reported, the good thing as opposed to all the mixxed emotions if whether or not there is such a thing as global warming.

What WLKI reported for the amount of snow Angola got this year went from the average of 30 some inches to 60 some inches of the stuff and take my rememberance then and though yes,we had our warm days even back then but the good thing of it for now is just how much of that 60 some inches of snow for this year alone had yet been on the ground back then?

Let alone I can recall only once since around 2000 has Drivers even dared to drive on the ice on Hamilton Lake and with more snow being predicted yet.

But my point is is global warming natural and we can all give an big 10/4 to but that we also be adding our so called two cents to it or is that so called two cents the total cause of it?

I'm not so sure of all this global warming stuff. In 2005 there was a hurricane in Sweden, though, and that just ain't natural.

Do you know where that happened? My sister lives in Goteborg, Sweden. They moved there in late 2005.

As there was snow in Iraq this year that by the same example reminds me of seven Cousins back in those snowball days that had never seen snow until stopping in this area between relocations of my Uncles military service.

Then there's those ole twisters lately too,no longer can they just be expected in the spring time by the same comparison.

I gotta agree with the ain't natural statement Mr. L.B. that somethings out of whack somewhere,as example all this snow maybe in the natural course of things was destined for somewhere else (like maybe at both poles where it's always? been) but by the same before mentioned comparison,if this snow was destined to have gone somewhere else but couldn't then it has to go somewhere.

But my opinion is the more we can deal with correcting the posatives as we know them that good ole Mother Earth will deal right back.

I suppose that last statement would/does infuriate some but I gotta APPLAUDE the automotive industry as well are so many industries are trying but the vehicle one because it seems quite naturally that they want nothing to do with the noted two cents in their legacy...OH BOY but the various industries in THAT catagory are to numberable to mention them all so:party: :)

Ah, the good ol' days. Remember when they would set an old junk car on P Lake and have a contest to predict when it would fall through?

A quick googling revealed this. (http://www.thelocal.se/article.php?ID=823&date=20050109)

I have to admit misreading the headline as "Sven" at first...

I remember after Katrina there was some speculation that the rise in temperatures in the oceans would cause more severe hurricanes, since the air above the oceans would be warmer.

Of course, we haven't had any that bad since Katrina, but that doesn't mean they aren't coming.

P.S. Nine inches of snow in north Texas today.
