The Vikings possibly acquiring Jared Allen from the Chiefs.

If this happens, Minnesota will have the most feared defensive unit assembled since the Bear's dealt destruction back in 85.

Rumor has it, Steve McNair has already purchased some ground near Farve's Mississippi safe haven. If this deal gets done, other will follow. . .

I hate that McNair retires because his body won't let him play when he wants to, while Favre openly admits that he could play, but doesn't want to. I loved Favre. Now I'm not so sure.

Think about it.

We all have jobs, and the reality of it is, we have a LOT of slack time. Sometimes after a hard "weekend", we recharge our batterys Mon and Tuesday.

I'm guessing you don't get burned from playing on Sunday ... It's all the rest of the week under the microscope that burns you out. You play football at an Olympic caliber for that many years . . . ..

I'm a strong Viking Fan but I gotta give props when they're do and he's the epitome of what all us fans wish for.

Bret Favre's "I could play" is a lot different than the "I could play" of most NFL players, so it might not be a valid comparison. The guy is almost 40 years old, and started 275 games in a row. Is this somebody you want to paint as not giving his all? :hmmmm:

Or did I, yet again, overanalyze a subtle joke. :stupido2:

McNair's body won't let him play because he didn't want to bother to get in shape.
