Waaaayyyy overdue. It was a bad pick from the start.

1. Bears offer to split the difference between 3rd & 5th pick money for their 4th pick. He whines it's not enough.
2. Comes to camp out of shape.
3. Leaves exhibition game in 3rd quarter without telling coaching staff.
4. Can't convert 3rd or 4th downs despite procaliming himself a power back.

Good riddance.

Maybe the Dallas Cowboys will pick him up. He and Tank Johnson could hang out together.

Benson reminded me a lot of Rashaan Salaam: lots of hype, but seeming to have no real drive or work ethic once he was signed, and ultimately a big disappointment.

Walter is still the greatest.

Emmitt Smith may have the record for yards, but Walter was far classier both on & off the field and played on far worse teams over his career.
