Gaslight Playhouse Theater's "The Wiz" entertained audiences Thursday through Sunday (6/19 through 6/22) in Kendallville at Floral Hall on the Noble County Fairgrounds, with mostly positive reviews reported and a general feeling of success enjoyed by all involved in bringing the production to the community.

Cast, crew and directors exhaled collectively with relief following Sunday's final performance, as it had been a long 5-1/2 weeks of preparation and rehearsal. After 4 hours of "striking the sets" while chatting of near-future productions, those who'd put so much effort and talent into Gaslight's latest offering headed home for much-needed rest...

SINCERE THANKS go out to those who have shown support to Gaslight (and the many people who contribute to its productions) with their attendance and financial sponsorship! Without donations from businesses and individuals, and enthusiastic audiences willing to buy tickets, Gaslight Playhouse Theater would not exist. Your support and patronage is greatly appreciated!!

I would have liked to have seen this production - we could hear them practicing during baseball practices at the fairground - but I didn't have the chance over the weekend.
Lily, do you know what and when the next Gaslight production will be?
