LIGONIER — Dave Knopp, executive director of the Noble County Community Foundation and a resident of Albion, died suddenly this morning.

I was sorry to learn this. Mr. Knopp was kind and patient whenever I had dealings with him. He was smart and genuinely committed to the best life possible for Noble County residents. He'll leave big shoes to fill.
