i'm sorry if any of my comments on here offended anyone. I felt personally attacked. But after reading back over the threads i understand people were just trying to help. Again i'm very sorry!

Ms Bass, I sincerely wish the very best for you. I also believe you will find your solutions.

We've all been given different challenges in life. It is in the process of overcoming our challenges that I believe we discover our strengths. The discontent you are feeling is an indication to me that your abilities exceed your current conditions (even though you may remain legally disabled).

Keep posting and do NOT allow anyone to cause you to feel inferior. I know I was harsh in my previous response to you, however, I sincerely believe we must be hard on ourselves to bring the best out of ourselves.

Best Wishes!
Helen

I shouldn't be too upset about what is posted on a forum with as strong a conservative bias as the Fence Post has, mrs.bass.
Hang in there, and continue to post what you think.
Good luck.

Maybe it's just me, but I've not sensed this. There are folks with strong conservative opinions, yes, but there are as many with equally as strong (if not stronger) liberal opinions, and a few hanging out there in the middle. That's what makes some of the discussions so much fun.

I'll go further - I'll say that Graygleam's assertion that this forum has a conservative bias is simply wrong. But, he may have been confusing the historical editorial bias of the newspapers themselves with the Fence Post.

Thank you James, a perfect example.

Question...........What would make the liberal opinions "stronger" than the conservative opinions ?

In my mind, I guess, how loudly they are presented.

Just as long as we don't confuse "loud" with rude and nasty.

Just so long as we don't confuse "quiet" with snide and catty.

I'd like to see us all avoid snide, catty, rude or nasty and enjoy the free exchange of ideas.

Just to be clear - both loud and quiet are still OK? :ridinghorse::elefant:
