Did any of you hear on the radio about the husband that killed his wife, because they were separated and getting a divorce and she changed her status on a website from married to single?
They also said that parents took away their teen daughter's cell phone because they felt she was on it to much. The daughter in turn went to the kitchen and got knives out and was running them through the house with the knives. They finally locked themselves in the bathroom and called the police.

WOW! Didn't hear either one of those. Crazy stuff there. Can't even be a good parent without being scared for your life these days. Were either one of these stories local?

Off the subject of this thread, but every time I see the picture of the black lab, I smile-thanks ebbieday for brightening my day.

Oh you're welcome. I keep meaning to snap a pic of MY black Lab and put it on there, but can't seem to remember. I will make a point of getting that done in the next few days. Dogs...the only creatures on earth that love you no matter what!

Exactly Ebbie! My little dachshound has found that softest spot in my heart and planted himself firmly within. I don't ever want to think of a day without him in it.
Those big brown eyes of his could melt any Hershey Bar, pack of M&M's and of course my heart any day of the week.
I had to do some paper work for my new job that I start in Feb. this afternoon. I put him in a large wire cage in the dining room when no one is going to be home (to protect the furniture & couch from possible damage).
He was so ticked off at me for leaving him in that cage for 4 hours...he's been pouting all evening. We've sure got an adjustment ahead of us as I return to work. :-)
I hate it when he gets this upset with me.

When the lab is put in his pen he will curl around and then flop down with a disgusted, rather comical "Humph!"

Oh Helen, I love Doxies! One of our two Schnoodles, I swear, is mixed with Doxie because he has that face and temperment. Love 'em!

I love how this thread went from a husband killing his wife to our love of dogs. Nothing like a dog or an animal to turn a conversation to a positive note.
