200 West

It seems to be a waste to turn county road 200 west into 5 lanes. In the summer of 2006 new asphalt had to be applied because of poor materials and workmanship of the chip and seal project. This stretch of county road is in very good condition now. Many miles of paved and un paved county roads are in need of work. Why would our elected county commisoners tear up a new asphalt road ? This would be a great "Hiss" in the Sunday edition of the Hearld Republican.I will remember this waste of tax payers dollars come the next election. Hopefully a commisioner will read this and change the focus of road improvements in Steuben County.

Apparently this project has been put on hold for "aesthetic reasons."
