5. Cop Rock (horrible)

4. The Gong Show (Goofy)

3. Friends (One of my favs)

2. Jerry Springer (waste of airtime)

1. My Mother the Car (never watched it)

I would definitely put Friends on the list. Maybe not at the top, but certainly in the list. The two or three episodes I watched felt to me like a bland, committee-written show whose writers were tapping a demographic they cynically held in contempt.

Who Wants to Marry a Millionaire
Temptation Island
American Idol
The Weakest Link
Queen for a Day
Survivor
Joe Millionaire

Basically, ANY show that focuses and glorifies the worst in human nature (greed, opportunism, crushing dreams, etc.)

Friends was vastly overrated, but pretty typical sitcom fare.

I agree - it's the only one of the five listed I actually ever watched, but I thought it was cool when I was a kid.

Although, thinking back on it, I guess it was kind of a precursor to "America's Got Talent" and similar shows.

Any of a variety of Real World and their spinoffs

Wow...that was so bad I couldn't bear to watch it all. Definitely makes the list!
