After visiting relatives in Carmel over Thanksgiving, the family rediscovered Super Mario Bros. We've had a blast with our 6-year-old, watching him work on his hand-eye coordination and timing skills. Not to mention it's fun for dear-old day.

One of the greatest games of all time! A couple years ago I got out my old nintendo and now I get to enjoy all the old games I used to play with my kids. The Nintendo Wii is the best next generation system out there!!! Even my in-laws who haven't ever played video games can play Wii Sports: bowling, baseball, tennis, etc. The Nintendo Wii really brings the fun back into playing video games. :)

Easily considered to be one of the best games of all time. The wii is definitely bringing the fan-base and the magic back into gaming. The games are so intuitive and fun. I had my doubts on the "wii-mote" at first, but now i'm convinced it is easier all around. It also involves the player more; for example slashing in a swiping motion to control links sword in Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. Only downside visible is that there isn't enough games! Of course that will change, but I already have 3/4 of the library. :p I'm starting to enjoy the wii more than the 360! Someone slap me. :)

I just can't get away from Wii Sports! It's crazy fun! My 4 year old, 7 year old, wife, and I everyday do our Wii Sports fitness test! We are so addicted. It's pretty cool because this is the first next generation game that my wife has gotten in to. I play Wii Sports more than Call of Duty 3, Zelda, and Cars. :D

The toughest thing about gaming is finding time to do it. I've got one of the Tom Clancy Play Station 2 games, but it's so time consuming to get into it. At least with Super Mario, it's something the whole family can enjoy. My favorite Play Station 2 game has been "God of War," but it's too violent for the kiddies.

Just to make you guys happy, I have downloaded and installed two Mario based games in the Forum arcade. While they aren't the real thing, hopefully you will enjoy them.

If i'm gaming, i'm on NHL07 for the 360. Although Gears of War gets my attention as well. Halo 3 is coming, though, so prepare for the hype. And personally, I can't wait for Guitar Hero to hit the 360. And if you're into it, Dead Rising is brilliant.
The Wii is pretty neat. But i've been playing a much better version for years. The golf simulator at Piggy's.
As for Mario... I picked up an Nes for the wife's birthday, and i'll be jiggered if we didn't go head-to-head on Dr. Mario for hours.

We got some Super Nintendo games recently via Ebay and were very pleased with the service. My wife and son spent a lot of time playing Super Ghouls and Ghosts (Super Ghosts and Ghoulds?) this weekend. My son also got an Atari classic game for Christmas. Dear old dad, loves Asteroids.

Super Ghouls & Ghosts is so darn good... but so darn hard!
Yeah, ebay is the best for vintage games. Although when Xbox Live put Street Fighter II and Contra on their Live Arcade, my need for a snes went down considerably. I miss Super Punchout, though.

Besides the Wii, I've been playing World of Warcarft. I'm fairly new to the game and it is VERY addicting. I'm a level 22 Human Warlock for you other WOW fans.
