Did anybody see his crack block last night? At least the announcers called him out on it as opposed to fawning over his every move.

Yeah, I saw it. It was pretty vicious. I am a Vikings fan but i a not sold on this ancient prima donna.

And pretty stupid to put him wide on the direct snap play.

Brad Childress has likely tied his fate to Farve's.

I'm a Vikings fan also. I don't think his 39 yr. old body can take too many more hits.

I didn't see it when it happened, but I did see it on the news, and I cannot imagine ANYONE being in the league as long as he has been doing what he did. He knew exactly what he was doing, and it shouldn't be tolerated especially by someone who's been in the league as long as he has.

Here's where I'm willing to give Farve the benefit of the doubt. I would imagine that he does not exactly practice a ton of run blocking. My thought was that he went to block a guy and missed low. Maybe it's just wishful thinking on my part. Maybe it was just a temporary lapse in judgement in his. I doubt malice was involved.

Looks like Brad Childress is going to let him rest those ribs for the final preseason game.

The preseason is a joke. How in the world can teams get away with charging what they do for these games?

How about the new Cowboys Stadium charging "only" $60 for a pizza as opposed to the $90 originally reported?

I really like the idea to convert the last two preseason games into Regular Season games, so we'd expand to an 18-game regular season.
Still allow teams to have a larger rooster up through Game 2, before making the final cut prior to Game 3.

I understand the feeling but am not quite sure how it would work out financially or with with scheduling.

Right now they can run preseason games almost every night of the week. They tend to limit regular season games to Sunday, Monday & Thursday. Playoffs run some Saturday games but that's well after college football has ended.

They should also be concerned about attendance and viewership in the summer since there are other things to do in nice weather.

My biggest concern is the NFL moving to a pay-per-view or premium satellite/cable offering model. They try to squeeze every nickel out of the fans.
