I don't know what you are thinking, but do I detect maybe this person was completely stoned out of their mind.

LIGONIER — Ligonier police found themselves dealing with the unusual early Thursday morning after a nude Elkhart man, 23, apparently jumped off a passing train and started walking toward downtown Ligonier.
The man, who was “completely naked and covered with blood” according to police reports, was found near the intersection of North Cavin and Richmond streets, less than a block from a railroad viaduct, at 1:15 a.m.
Ligonier officer Mike Alexander was assisting officer Josh Halsey on a traffic stop when the man walked up toward him. According to Alexander’s report, the man “identified himself as Jesus Christ” and said he “just jumped from the train because of sin” and that he had “to repent of his own sin and as his punishment he jumped from the train.”
The blood he was covered in was coming from deep lacerations to the man’s head and face, according to Alexander. “He had severe trauma to his right eye and most of his teeth were gone,” said Alexander, who estimated the train was probably going to 30 to 35 miles an hour when the man jumped from it.
“It was a freight train and we think he hopped on it in Elkhart,” Alexander said.
Because of the extent of the man’s injuries, Alexander had the Noble County Sheriff’s Department contact Noble County EMS for an ambulance. The EMS crew, after arriving and assessing the man’s injuries, recommended the Samaritan medical helicopter be dispatched to transport the man.
He was flown to Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne. A report on his condition was unavailable as of late Thursday night.
Ligonier police contacted the Norfolk Southern Railroad security department to inform them of the incident. While they were taking care of him, the man told police his name and that he was from Elkhart. Police found an Indiana driver’s license on file for him.
Ligonier police have not filed any charges against the man, and notified the Elkhart Police Department of the situation, so they could contact the man’s family.
