After reading this story I was left wondering what type of idiots we have in office.
Mr Souder's deputy chief of staff, doesn't have a clue.
The math he used wasn't FUZZY it was just bad. And I am not sure who does his taxes, but he obviously doesn't understand a 1040!
And his claims of a supposed $217 billion tax hike that he blames on democrats,
The one he alludes to the idea that his boss fought against- NOT-
what does he think is paying for what has become known as the republican war.

Like almost every politician, he is going to lie about the figures to support his own position.

The tax cuts under this Bush helped only the richest of the population (and Bush's corporate overseers as well, of course) while reducing the size of the middle class and increasing the amount of those in poverty.

Besides, how the hell else is the country going to pay for Bush and the GOP's illegal wars of choice without taxes?

Oh wait, like they ALWAYS do: spend more than they earn.

Fiscal conservatives... right...
