Anyone got the inside scoop on the apparent railroad job they did on the marshall? All I know is what I read online. A lot of things didn't make sense to me. It sounds like he was fired after 20 years for following orders. There were no problems cited before this Armstrong guy entered the picture. They told the marshall they didn't want Clear Lake to be known as a speed trap, they told him he couldn't use his radar in the area most likely for people to speed through, then they cite lack of citations as cause for firing. They tell him to avoid a certain person then list his avoidance of that person as a reason for firing. They tell him to work a split shift and he does, but he is being fired for grumbling about it. Whenever I dealt with him he was polite and courteous. Is that another reason for his firing?
