Default Holy God: Remember Happy the Hobo?

First I was shocked he had a Wikipedia page:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Happy's_Place

Then I found out he could be found on YouTube:

I may call in sick to work tomorrow after suffering from a near-fatal overdose of nostalgia.

PS. I can still hear the theme to Froggy's Pad in my head... that haunting, whistling tune...
    Apples are good,
    Oranges are bad,
    Lemons are rude,
    Bananas are perverted,
And kumquats are just, plain evil...

As I am prone to having songs stuck in my head for weeks and months on end, I don't think I'll click on the play button...

OMGosh!! My kids were on Happy's Place a couple of times!! But they were on before Froggy's debut. Whatever happened to Happy? I know Froggy became a big radio station owner, right? Here's is a little bit of trivia, the seamstress that actually MADE Froggy's shirt lives in Auburn. And we thought the Kruses were the only celebrities in town! Does anyone remember Lawn Boy? Now that was scary!!! I stopped taking my kids because Lawn Boy kinda' creeped us out.

I didn't grow up around here, so I'm a bit unfamiliar with your native forms of quality children's entertainment.

However, for reasons known only to her, this week my wife rented a collection of Fat Albert DVDs from Family Video for the kids to watch.

I felt very old when I saw Bill Cosby looking like this:

    Hey, hey, hey

Speaking of celebreties in Dekalb don't know about current but as kids in Hamilton rumor was Engineer John had a place back in the boondocks off the Shawnesee(sp) road,as if that country road alone wasn't the boondocks back in those days. Ha,I guess we just supposed the rumor true and Engineer John deserved that privacy when not on the train
