    New Presidential Candidate... It's someone we know!

    Hi,

    There's an effort to elect an unknown random person as President... and it's someone we know! Watch this online video about the surprising new nominee:

    If nominated, I will not accept. If elected, I will not serve.

    I beg you to reconsider. We would finally have a candidate that I could vote for. You couldn't do any worse. Unless, you have some skeltons in your closet that you don't want us to find out about (humor). JAMES T. WRITE-IN CANDIDATE FOR PRESIDENT.

    Too bad the ones who did accept are only going to serve their "Party", or the people who bought them.

    That's another reason to stay out of politics - there are just way too many bad puns that can be made using my last name.

    Besides, after four years of my administration, I'm sure we'd wind up with something like this:

    I almost nominated Evil with my first one. But since you mentioned in your Status that you are not running for VP, I just assumed it was because you were running for the top billing.

    No, no, that was from some discussion in another thread.

    Unlike all the celebs or politicos who say they're leaving their job to spend more time with their family and then wind up seeking a bigger one, I really DO need to spend more time with my family.

    Besides, Quat's ego and rhetoric are better suited to politics than mine.

    This post had me laughing pretty loudly, and it takes a lot for that to happen reading stuff online, so congrats there.

    In my defense:

    Democrat HeroŽ was referring to Al Gore, not myself, nd that post clearly established me eating some humble pie;

    "Your Highess or Sire" was correcting someone who gave me his own title (Chancellor);

    The "smarter than me" line was immediately followed by a dig at my weight (too much) and hair (not enough), so pttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt.

    Furthermore, pttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt.

    And then finally, pttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt.
