Neither posting has anything to do with the candidates or their stands. I don't plan to vote for or against someone based on the views of some people who aren't candidates. I would hope that you wouldn't take this into consideration either.

Maybe this thread should be renamed: This candidate has these stupid people supporting them so you shouldn't vote for them.

Palin can be defeated on her own merits - to shrink to this level is totally unnessary and NOT acceptable. Off with their heads - whom ever planted this kind of smear tactics! Also OFF with the Republican's head who have done the same,

Ironically, the Secret Service is investigating these comments because it is against the law, but they have yet to find anyone guilty of making these comments. I think a lot are believing what they see, because that's what they want to see.

You are correct, alot of my believing has been based on what I am seeing. Last weekend I viewed some very hateful exchanges between the media and visitors to a McCain/Palin ralley somewhere in Ohio. I belive it was Cincinnitti - but can not swear to it. There were more than 1000 people in line and a majority of them were accusing Obama of being Muslim, and Al-Quida connected. I was frankly disheartened to watch & hear these comments.

Anybody can make a video and put a logo on it. Give some people some money and they will say whatever you want. You can edit it any way you want. You believe what you want, if you believe everything you see on U-Tube that's your prerogative. Actually in this case, the origin of the video appears to be accurate. I went to the YouTube it was posted by AlJazeeraEnglish. I went to the Al Jazeera web site and would you care to guess what YouTube poster I was able to get back to from there?

And it most certainly is NOT manipulated to make people think all Buckeyes are like that.

Part of the reason for shining a light on stuff like this is to get Republicans to chastise those in their party that behave like this. Lord knows I take my friends to task when they spout BS about the Right.

That's part and parcel to the credibility gap that the Republican party has right now. They don't own up to their own mistakes. Actually, I think that would make a very good topic for discussion, but that wasn't made clear to me in your original posting. Neither did I see you clarifying this when others were posting bad behavior links on this thread. Maybe that was timing.

For the rally in question, I haven't found any references from any source that suggests Palin made these references at this rally. Did I miss something? Or were you referring to past actions? Once again, that wasn't clear to me from your posting.

Prove it. It appears you find Al-Jazeera to be beyond reproach. Do you think these were the only people interviewed? Do you think these opinions were shared by everyone there? Where are the comments that don't fit what the interviewer was looking for? Why did they show the answers and not the questions?
