Maybe I'm just too traditional in my views of Holmes, but the character in this trailer does not strike me as Sherlock Holmes.

I think it's crap.

It's a cynical attempt by Hollywood/Guy Ritchie to use an established property for its name-recognition while at the same time using explosions and slow-mo to attract people who wouldn't know the best use of a Persian slipper if their lives depended on it.
