Default Live chat Tuesday on President's speech

At noon Tuesday, President Barack Obama will talk directly to students across the country on the importance of taking responsibility for their education. KPC Media Group and fwdailynews.com will host a live chat during and after the speech to get your reaction — whether you are a student, teacher, parent or just interested — to what the president has to say to students. Are we chatting with anyone in particular or just each other?

Also, isn't holding it during the speech and inviting students to participate just asking them to not pay attention to the speech?

Each other. This is a new service we're testing for the occasion.

It will be after, too. But they're probably pretty good at multitasking, judging from all the texting they do while doing other stuff.

But wait, wouldn't it be more fun to actually attack the President and his speech before we actually hear it? That seems to be what I am reading about. I mean why actually wait until Tuesday afternoon to comment? We can attack Obama right now while at the same time professing that we are simply protecting our children from some evil person and his dangerous ideas.

You see it is easier to be close-minded and only listen to those people who share my viewpoints. It is safer.

And....so many fewer questions to answer that your children may ask of you.
There are very striking statesmen who travel with the current. Others who go against it. But those who manage to alter the direction of the river are very rare.
