Video store owner taking pics

I saw this story on WANE tv at noon. Did anyone hear the little girl say she was happy that she was wearing a skort? (combo of a skirt and shorts) I'm sure it just happened that way but she knows right from wrong. And that idiot was WRONG!!!!!!

If you are correct and he is only the manager...that owner best be making some swift moves to correct the situation or he will be loosing the shop.

If this fellow is the owner...he would be wise to sell now and leave town, because this kind of behavior won't be tolerated in Ashley (or many other NE Indiana towns).

To hear he is standing in that shop acting like no big problem....the cops haven't talked to me...tells me he needs to be packing his bags, this isn't the community for him.

i wonder if the police got this little girl a restraining order against him. not that she will be back in his store, but it would def. be in her best interest to have an order fof protection against him.

if he's stupid enough to do what he did, and the fact that she was with her uncle also when he did it, who knows what else he may be capable of doing...

It wasn't an illiterate "kill um all" rant. So far all we have is hearsay and the fact that no laws are broken unless there's nudity. the police have his camera and hard drive. My some people are hysterical.

if that happened to my daughter, i would have been arrested for kicking some ***. i agree killing is a little far, but i would not have hesitated to dish out a beating. especially if i saw the pictures and had proof. it would be worth a trip to jail. so i guess i'm hysterical.

Wow... okay first i must say. Yes he is in fact the owner, he bought the store from the previous owner a few months ago.

Basically, although I've seen skorts that are a pair of shorts with a skirt wrapped all the way around it, so you don't get the shorts look in the back.

Although, according to the Wikipedia article, if it has the skirt all the way around, it's called a "scooter." Who knew?

I heard Ed Morrow say on the radio this morning, that when he went back into the store, he took his girlfriend with him and within 1 minute of them arriving, Butch had taken a picture of his girlfriend without either of their knowledge.

I like you, Johnboy am not for vigilantly justice, but I have to tell you (having raised 2 daughters) if I had asked the guy for his phone, and he handed it to me, and I saw an up-skirt picture of my daughter(which may or may not have been exactly what happened), I honestly think instincts would have taken over, and I'm not sure what I would have done.

So my hats off to Ed for keeping his cool, after all, he may not have seen a picture of his daughter on it, but he did see a picture of his girlfriend.

My guess in this guy's case, the majority of the sexual thrill was the candid nature of the shots rather than any actual nudity.

It's all a matter of the viewer's personal fetish. Just because the majority of people prefer fully naked pictures doesn't mean this guy won't get a bigger kick out of fully clothed women whose photos he took personally (and without their knowledge or consent).

While do not defend his acts, I would be curious to know if the ten-year-old in question looks older than what she is. It would be better if the video store manager thought he was getting a candid of a sixteen-year-old than a ten-year-old, if for nothing else than peace of mind for those in the area with younger children.
