Votes Don't Count in Ashley

I saw in the post office that Randy McEntarfer may soon be in control of the town again. He lost the last election because people didn't want him involved with the town, so why even vote!

I never said I don't vote, I do, and alot of people voted against him so he wouldn't be involved with the town and now he is going through the back door.

What do you mean by "in control of the town?" Just curious on what's going on up there - I'm out of the loop since I don't cover their meetings anymore!

I'm out of the loop too. What's wrong with Randy, and how is he taking over?

They are going to take the Superintendent out of the budget, leaving Randy back in charge. There have been alot of good things happening here in the last year, now to go back to the old way???

How is he back in charge? Doesn't your town have town counsel? Dont they make the decisions for the town. It sounds like you do not like him or someone losing their job (maybe you), not an argument whether voting matters? Why? How is removing the superintendent job putting anyone in charge?

My schedule changed and I stopped covering meetings on Monday nights, so Lindsay Winslow Brown has been covering Ashley. I'll forward on this information on to her so she can look at it.
