    Default Corunna Bridge

It is sad that one person can do damage to a community like that.
A person that is to look out for the good of the town.
Then the guy that "bought" the bridge, to go ahead and finish it off after he was told to stop.
I rode and drove over that bridge since i was a kid. I thought it was a great idea to put it next to the fire station.

I think that it too is sad that the bridge ended up being cut up like it was, however being put at the fire station (in my opinion) was a bad idea.

Yes, it would have looked nice for those driving along US 6 to see it, but the fact that it was being erected over the retention pond could turn out to be a bad idea. I think that you and I both know that kids are going to be crossing US 6, which is a big safety problem, to go play on the thing. The other potential risk would be that they would be jumping off the thing into the water. If it's like most retention ponds, it's probably only waist deep or slightly deeper. So, when a kid dives off and hurts or kills themself, the town is going to be the one to get sued in our sue happy society.

So, in able to prevent these things from happening they would have to probably put a fence up to keep people out, therefore taking away from what could have been a potential nice fixture.
