those are some deep pockets. seriously though, i like that they are improving the campus for students. that's great. i just can't think of any request's they have had, that the B.Z.A. or city council has not voted in favor for. they even got to tear up a very useful city street to plant useless grass for christ's sake.

Ted, I'm sorry but I must disagree with you on the censoring of posts on the FP. I would have been surprised if the moderators here would have blocked or banned for this posting.

Perhaps there is history of supression that I am unaware of? If so show me some examples and I will reconsider my position.

At this point and time, I have no reason to believe your accusation to be valid?

No offence meant...simply observing my experience on here. I am open if you choose to fill me in on details?

Well...Michael...if the improvements were recommended prior to Trine taking charge of all things...they might be valid improvement?. You are speaking about a community that is really outside of my neighborhood.

Truthfully, I can imagine the objections our SE DeKalb neighborhood would have to having the Trine family rearranging our community based on their monetary contributions. Donations are always greatly appreciated when made to our community. When donations are received with strings attached that seem to be unfavorable to our community...we are capable of saying 'NO Thank You'.

I think the improvements were extremely valid for Tri-State but not necessarily for the community. With that being said, the street changes didn't hurt the community either. In regards to the improvements being recommended prior to "Trine taking charge" (theoretically Trine isn't in charge, Mr. Brooks is) NO. They have been involved since Mr. Brooks was hired as the President of Tri-State.
