    Looking For Local Racers Headstones

I'm looking for any local racer's headstones that have photo's on them, so if you know of any in nearby cemetaries please let me know.

I went to Montgomery,MI. to Berg Cemetary Friday November 27th to photograph these two headstones from two very well known racers from the 50's & 60's who raced at about every track in the tri-state area. To see all of the photo's go to:http://tristateracing.freeforums.org...cers-t887.html

Very interesting post, Racefan. I remember watching Zimmerman at Butler years ago. His son Doug drives a sprint car at Butler and is darn good. Also have watched Mark Boyer in his sprint car. A lot of good racing!. They both fly around that track.

    Thanks ,
I've known about this link for a couple of years and know there are many famous people as well as many famous racers on it. I'm only interested in racers from Northern Indiana, NW Ohio, and SE Michigan, mainly local racers who raced at tracks in the near tri-state area. But Thanks again.

Some day however I'm gonna get down to Indy to the big cemetary and see some of those famous people's stones.

Wow, you have your homework cut out for you. The website has over 4000 names. Some, I am sure, are what you may be looking for. It will take hours to look through them all. Took me over one hour to just get into the B's.
Once again, Good Luck. I appreciate your compassion.
