Don't blame Cutler for everything. They can't run, they can't defend, they can't protect.
Lovie looks as clueless as ever but they won't fire him.![]()
McCaskey's are notoriously cheap and they won't pay him the $11 million left on his contract for the next two years.
Seeing as how black bear season has been going on for a while in various parts of the country, I expected this post to be TOTALLY different than what it turned out to be
Killed cleanly, cared for properly, & roasted up by someone who knows their way around the kitchen. Black bear is actually tastier than the best prime rib!
Sorry I misunderstood!!!!!

Here is a recipe, when can we come try it?

and my goodness,
You can use a colt to kill your bear.

You sound just like my dad. He's been a die-hard Bears fan forever, and has watched them through good times and bad. My mom always asks him why he watches them play every week when they just cause him to grumble and yell curses at the TV, but he likes to watch his favorite team, even when they play so horribly.
It's probably seeing him stay loyal to the Bears through thick and thin that made my sister go to every IU football home game for two years while we were in college, even though they almost always lost.

My eldest son spent a lot of his formative years in the Chicago suburbs, and as a result is a Cubs fan.
The day after the White Sox won the World Series it happened to be the day to dress up in your favorite sports garb at his elementary school. He went head-to-toe in Cubbie blue.
I hate to say it but I really wish they would've lost yesterday. Only then would the McCaskey's think about firing the always optomistic but seriously clueless Lovie Smith and the grossly incompetent Ron Turner.
In Lovie's press conference he called it a "big win for us". Give me a FREAKIN' BREAK!!!!! You just beat the 1-11 Rams by 8 points at HOME and looked terrible doing it.
Please put us out of our misery! Forfeit the sure losses (Baltimore & Minnesota) and spare fans the torment of actually watching them.
Fire Lovie & Ron Turner now and start the search for a new staff. Heck, they don't have any draftpicks until the third round so you can't look for a talent upgrade there.
Rumors out of South Bend is that the Bears plan on hiring that ****** Charlie Weis to be their offensive coordinator.
Lovie's post game remarks show exactly how truly clueless he really is:

The best evidence has to be this:
On being swept by the Packers:
"This is the first time we've been swept by the Packers [during my tenure]. This is the situation we're in right now. This season hasn't turned out exactly the way we would have liked. This hasn't happened a lot of times, so I don't know quite how to respond to it. But, we just have to do something about it in the future."
Some may attribute this to "coach speak" but the guy needs to go.
I don't really watch football all that much, but my dad is a huuuuuuuuuge, die-hard Bears fan. He's ticked every time they lose but he is so sick of Lovie and the rest of the coaching staff that he kind of hopes that they will keep losing so they dump the coaching staff. It's really hard for him to root for his very favorite team to lose, though.
