My mother loves the Bears. She called tonight to comment on the Colts game and was starting to watch the Bears. She made the comment, "Even though I know they are going to lose this game, I have to watch"

Killed cleanly, cared for properly, & roasted up by someone who knows their way around the kitchen. Black bear is actually tastier than the best prime rib!

You sound just like my dad. He's been a die-hard Bears fan forever, and has watched them through good times and bad. My mom always asks him why he watches them play every week when they just cause him to grumble and yell curses at the TV, but he likes to watch his favorite team, even when they play so horribly.

It's probably seeing him stay loyal to the Bears through thick and thin that made my sister go to every IU football home game for two years while we were in college, even though they almost always lost.

At my previous job, my boss loved to hunt bear. He would go on these very expensive private tours and hunt bear in Alaska.
He loved to hunt moose too.

I hate to say it but I really wish they would've lost yesterday. Only then would the McCaskey's think about firing the always optomistic but seriously clueless Lovie Smith and the grossly incompetent Ron Turner.

In Lovie's press conference he called it a "big win for us". Give me a FREAKIN' BREAK!!!!! You just beat the 1-11 Rams by 8 points at HOME and looked terrible doing it.

I've never gone on an expensive hunting trip. But I have hunted black bear in PA, WV, TN, KY, NC, MN, & MI; & grizzly in BC & the Yukon. ALL proved mighty tastey!!!!!

You might still have hope - they have one game left against Detroit. A loss to the Lions would leave about the same impression.

Fire Lovie & Ron Turner now and start the search for a new staff. Heck, they don't have any draftpicks until the third round so you can't look for a talent upgrade there.
