    Default Playoffs

Cowboys destroy Philly. Baltimore hands the Patriots their backsides. Jets beat down Cinci, and Arizona is stomping the Pack. Everything is going according to plan.

But the next round is the tricky one. Do I think the Colts will beat Baltimore? Yes. But it will not be easy. As opposed to San Diego, who should trounce the Jets.

As for the NFC, hard tellin'. The Vikings should manhandle the Cowboys. Who knows what Saints team will show up. I just don't trust 'em, so take Arizona.

Beyond that, Colts vs SanDiego, SanDiego wins. Vikings vs Cardinals, Vikings win.

Leading to San Diego vs Minnesota. Vikings win, Favre retires for good.

As a life long Vikings fan, i hope your super bowl prediction is correct? Except i would like to see the Colts and Vikinbgs play in the final game. I think the Jets could beat the Chargers. I 'd like the Cardinals over the Saints.

I want the Colts to win it all, but they've put together wins with bits of tin foil, duct tape, some twine...

The Chargers are the real deal on both sides of the ball. I just don't trust the Colts.

As for the Jets, they've got two good pieces in place: running and defense. But they're going nowhere with a rookie QB. Its just not going to happen.

    Manhandle??

Have you watched the Cowboys lately??
They are going to be in Favre's face all-day long.

And the Colts vs. Ravens?? After watching that D today I predict an upset.

(and YOU know the "Bolts" are gonna take it all. (C'mon, just admit it. No such thing as jinxes)

Exactly. But for some reason Colts fans seem to think they are a juggernaut. (But then again I come across many Colts fans that don't actually WATCH the games)

I've watched all the games. The Cowboys are playing well, but they're overplaying their talent. The Vikings are the real deal. The Cowboys are not.

The Ravens did that outdoors vs. a cruddy Patriots team. The Colts offense at home is vastly superior to New England without Welker.

The Vikings offensive and defensive lines should manhandle the cowgirls!

    Really??
I see a talented team that has finally played up to their potential.

Above average QB, OL, RB (Three studs),TE, and DL.

    Solid LBs, WRs and secondary.

We shall see. it's a coin-flip for me.
I just thought manhandle was a bold statement.
But ya' could be right. If I was such a great prognosticator I'd be driving a nicer car.

Packers almost undid you before you got started. That was a wild game. After all that offense the defense wins in OT.

Your can't-miss picks for the next round from the World's Only Sports Prognosticating Bovine:

    Dallas (I love COWboys)
    Colts (another favorite species)
Cardinals (sticking with the animal kingdom)
Chargers (but I hate electric fences)

Okay...play off afternoon. I'm hoping for the Saints over the Cardinals.

Of Course, the Colts over the Ravens later.

Not concerned about spreads...just hope it falls this way. Going to be an interesting afternoon & evening!
There are very striking statesmen who travel with the current. Others who go against it. But those who manage to alter the direction of the river are very rare.

Best news of all for us at home is that the Colts brought the win home tonight!!!!

A couple of key defenders went out early with injuries.

    Good call.
Dominant performance. Romo will get a lot of the blame in Dallas but his O-line gave him no chance.

Can we get one close game this weekend??

That was not too hard call. The Vikings defensive was just superior to the Cowboys offensive line. And of course you got home field advantage of the Metro Dome.

You got that right! How about this next game? Chargers or the Jets? I'm hoping for the Jet's just so the Colts don't have to face the Chargers later on. I believe the Chargers are the strongest.
