The Colts would have beaten the Jets but they laid down for them. This will be an AFC cakewalk for the Colts. But the superbowl on the other hand will be another story all together

Yes, these next games are going to be MOST interesting. Since I've never been a Vikings fan in the past...I won't be broken hearted if they loose....however...them loosing will be a miracle. Farbe is a miracle by himself and one heck of a good man as far as I can tell. I believe he and Payton share values that I respect.

I am a Colts fan, but admit that I don't watch every game. Hubby and I watched both Colts v Ravens and the Vikings v Cowboys this weekend and I must say Manning and Favre both kicked butt! Those two are awesome QB's. I don't really know much about BF (other than at 40 he's still got it), but Manning is a class act!

oh, I completely agree. But the Vikings defense is built to stop the run. So you'll see Reggie Bush have less success against the Vikings 2nd rated run defense, while Brees and the plentiful receiving core exploit the 19th ranked passing defense.
Comparing the top-producing offense of the Saints against the 14th ranked offense of the Cardinals is also important.
You'll see Brees with 300 yards passing.
It will be close, yes. But the Saints are too powerful of a pass team for the Vikings to stop.
Of course, this is all my highly uneducated opinion.![]()

Yes, we watched both games also Ebbie. I agree Brent Favre is one awesome QB and I will be much more comfortable if we go against the Saints in the Superbowl than if we go against the Vikings. Maybe comfortable is the wrong word....LOL!! Both the Saints and the Vikings are strong teams. I would be really surprised if we can't handle the NYJs though.

Momentum has nothing to do with the Jets' success.
The Jets got into the playoffs because their last 2 opponents rested their starters, and the teams they needed to lose happened to lose.
The Jets won at New England because Tom Brady felt the need to throw them the ball, and the Patriots left their defense in the locker room.
The Jets won at San Diego because a pro-bowl kicker who hadn't missed 3 field goals all season decided to miss 3 in one game.
The Jets have a good defense. The Jets have a good running game. The Jets also have had the luxury of facing 2 teams that shot themselves in the foot. That ends this weekend. Sanchez will throw multiple picks, and that rushing game will be shut down. Its going to be like Kansas City in '06, when they predicted Larry Johnson would get over 150 yards, and the Colts held him under 50. Indianapolis by 13.
As for New Orleans/Minnesota, go with Minnesota. The defense that shut down the Cowboys will have a harder time this week, but more importantly the Saints defense will be exposed as the pretenders that they are. A-Pete has two TDs, Favre has 2 TDs. Minnesota by 10.
