If you have never been to Coachlight, you should check it out! The coffee and variety is awesome, they have giant, thick, chewy, brownies, that could send you into chocolate lovers shock, and the best part: You are keeping your dollars LOCAL ! Hmmm....thinking it might be time for a quick coffee and brownie run for the office :P
Because my parents do not have high speed Internet (long story), my visit home routine used to involve visits to Coachlight, as I could access the Public Square free wireless. When I was in Angola last month, I was not able to do that - I take it that the city did away with that service to save a few pennies? I asked the gal working in the coffee shop, but she didn't seem to be too familiar with it. It's too bad - I ended up going to McDonald's to access the Internet, hardly a preferable choice.

Yes, Rachael does a great job at Coachlght and I love giving her my business. It's nice seeing a local business doing well. I also enjoy Sutton's coffee.

Why build a starbucks, when we could use maybe a Rally's or some other fast food places and why not build like a music store or clothing stores. Kendallville is really getting dull and lame

We have a music store, Little shop of Music..... run by Cephas Sutton. We had clothing stores until Wally world destroyed them, why don't you open a Rally's? I would buy some burgers.

Does K'ville still have the nice shoe store downtown? I can't recall their name right now, but when I worked in K'ville, they were the nicest old shoe store in town as far as I was concerned. They carried all the quality name brand shoes and would special order for me when I needed (often unfortunately). I loved them!

I hope they are still there.

I grew up in Kendallville and, back then, Taylor's Shoes was the one downtown. I don't know if they are still there or not. Don't get down there much any more= except to grab a pizza at Jim's now and then...

That is the name - Taylor's Shoes. I really loved shopping there. Hope they are still there. Good brand shoes, great service, and a good selection to choose from.

Taylor's Shoes has been gone for a long time. Miller's Shoe Store has been gone even longer.

I never shopped at Millers shoe store, however, I did enjoy Taylors store. Sorry to hear that Kendallville lost them.

I need to get up to Kendallville more often. I do have some good friends who live in the area. Procrastination - one of my worst vices!

I don't have a problem with procrastination, and if I did, I would just put off doing anything about it until tomorrow. .

I heard again today that the starbucks was coming into kendallville inside the wendy's. apparently there is a partition being built for this inside the store. I am not sure when this will be completed or when they will announce this!

Why are the people always last to know of new store coming into a town?????? I would think a business would put the word out to see what feedback they would receive before committing to a city or town. IMO.....

This is not going to happen.

If in fact Wendy's is remodeling for a coffee shop, it will be a Tim Horton's, not Tim Horton's main competitor!

There is a 0% chance that Starbucks will be going in to Wendy's.

Tim Horton's has great donuts, but their coffee tastes like stale Maxwell House.

Did any of your hear on the news today, Starbuck is changing their menus in their original stores. They intend to start offering Premium Beers and Wines after 4 o'clock as well as an extended menu. I don't see that new mix happening in many of their Indiana stores considering the limitation on those licenses.

Kendallville does have a Starbucks. It is called "Dude's", and is actually better than Starbucks. Give it a try.
