Cosmic you literally quote off the Rudolph WEB site. The only \\"Bell\\" that's ringing is the sound of fear and paranoia. Further investigation lead me down the road to the Huntertown accounting firm of H.J. Umbaugh. Huntertown has an excellent rating and is one of the BEST financially maintained small town government units in all of the state! Go ahead, look up the company and give them a call.
It is interesting that you bring up Gary Grant creating a job for Riley and his proposal for a division of duties. That's what State Board of Accounts told me would remedy the deficiency. Go ahead, call State Board of Accounts. I believe the issue of nepotisim has been covered well by the readers and contributors so move on as your argument doesn't hold up.
Have you ever asked Hidy what he is currently making on an annual basis? If you did you would find out that he's actually taking a pay cut and losing serious bennefits for his wife and two boys if he becomes Clerk-Treasurer. Hmmm, Rudolph is unemployed, who needs a pay check?
Gary Grant calling someone a nobody? Rudolph calling Hidy an A-- Hole in a council meeting (according to NW News editor Brian) doesn't sound any better. In May 2000 I was with a group of Boy Scouts when straight line winds or tornado ripped through Huntertown. Without hesitation I watched as Hidy a new council member with 5 months experience worked with state, county and local emergency services folks to coordinate a state of emergency, clear roads, work with utility companies, NW Allen County Schools, get the Red Cross on scene, shelter, food and the list goes on. He can make decisions under fire, true pressure during a natural disaster. Your \\"DECISION\\" argument is a waste of good air. I'm sure if Hidy changed his mind it was for a darn good reason.
