    Default Poetry Nonsense

I'm a bit of an untalented poetic person.

So I'll be typing up a few I want to share, be advised some are a little depressing.

And my better ones, I am scared to write up here, in fear of people who may take them as their own.

    But enjoy them.

    This is an old one:

    Flutter of the Heart:

    The flutter,
    Of my heart,
    Makes me feel like butter,
    Makes me tear apart.
    And melt,
    On the ground.
    Feeling like a pelt,
    Dragged in by a hound.
    Feeling really high,
    Feeling like a drug.
    I almost cry,
When you give me a hug.

    The world is spinning,
    Swirling around,
    My head is ringing,
    The world's making no sound.
    You stand awhile,
Then come out of the mist,
    You have a huge smile,
    And give me a kiss.

    Life is wonderful again,
    Life is sweet.
    Now that I have you,
    There's nothing I can't beat.

    One made last year:

    The Gate to Hell

    I see the hate
    In your eyes,
    Your heart is filled
    With burning lies,
    The knife you hold
    I do despise,
    The alley echoes
    Painful cries.

    I see you stabbed me
    In the chest,
    Laid me down
    For eternal rest,
    You tell me
    It is for the best,
    Though the blood flows
    From my breast.

    Then the light dims
    And goes away,
    And for once
I want to start to pray,
    That I can live
    Just one more day,
    To smile and dance
    Be merry and gay.

    I know it won’t happen
    I know it’s too late,
    Death has come
    And it’s something I hate,
    Now I must go
    To Hell’s burning gate,
For the sins I have done,
    Have cost me this fate.

    And into Hell
    I do go,
    It’s time to end
    Life’s drama show,
    It’s time to end
    All the woe,
    My cries in Hell
    Is just an echo.

    Another one made last year

    A Dance with a Devil

    You may see
    Through my disguise,
    But I see through
    Your bitter lies.

    You may think
    I’m just a dream,
    But wait until
    You hear the scream.

    Now you’ve heard it
    “Can’t be true,”
    What am I
    Going to do with you?

    I think I might
    Just let you know,
That a Dance with a Devil
Is a hell of a show.

    You think that you
Can pull a trick on me,
    But there’s something
    That you just won’t see.

    I am a devil
    Dance with me,
    If you win
    I’ll set you free.

    But there’s a trick
    To this deadly game,
    It slowly, slowly,
    Makes you insane.

A somewhat older one (i love to write poetry that doesn't rhyme and has no rythm. I can write a poem within literally a few minutes, but it depends if I like it to if I carry on)

    Timeless

    Desert sand
    High in the mountains
    Snowing in the summer
    Wind swept valleys
    In the ocean
    Time has gone
    Backward
To those who have no Heart
    You now have
    A heart
    Heartless
    Have grown a heart
    Caring ones have lost
    All feelings
    Of joy
    Peace
    And love
Because the snow in the desert
    The sand on the mountains
    Have moulded this new world
    Out of our tears
    Our tears
    Of pain
    Of joy
    Of sadness
    Of love
    The tears of life
    Fulfil our needs
    Our destiny
    Our beliefs
    Our heart
    Our craving
    To be never alone
    Yet alone
    To be different
    Yet be the same
    Difference and change
    Mould this new world
    With our tears
    Of life.

A very sad, and old one.

    Death’s Road

    I stand here,
    Looking down at you.
    I will soon disappear,
    From your view.
    You’re blinded,
    By the pain.
    And I am reminded,
    That I’m insane.
    Because losing you,
    Is the hardest thing,
    For me to go through,
I can feel my heart sting.

    My chest is burning,
    Like an untameable fire,
    I am yearning,
    To fulfil your last desire.
    You can’t look,
    You stare straight ahead.
    The evil has took,
    And laid down your head.
    Your burden to bear,
    Your saddened heart,
    Is ours to share,
    And tears us apart.

    You never did wrong,
    You were the light,
    In my life-song,
    But now you must fight.
    You must live,
    Stay with me,
    I’ll never forgive,
    His killing spree.

    The scars on your side,
    The blood on your face,
    You took your last stride,
    To save this whole place.
    You fought in a war,
    Never killed, never harmed,
Now you lay on the floor,
    Because you were disarmed.

    I sit by your face,
    Quietly cradling you,
    I’m full of disgrace,
    I never protected you.
    You look at me,
    Smiling sorrowfully,
    You say that you’re free,
    That you’re full of glee.
    I know you’re lying,
I can see it in your eyes,
    I try to stop crying,
    Because I know it’s unwise.

    I touch your cheek,
    Wipe away the blood,
    Life feels so bleak,
    Without you to hug.
    You’re beginning to fade,
    I kiss your forehead,
    Because you’ve laid,
    In your eternal bed.
    I slowly arise,
With a tear in my eye,
    I’ll try not to cry,
    As I say my goodbye.

    You’ve gone down Death’s Road,
    And there’s no way back,
So I think of my ode,
    To you stopping the attack.
    You saved all the lands,
    But sadly gave your life.
    I gave you my hands,
But now I am full of strife.

    Death’s Road has claimed you,
    It has taken you there,
Now that you have passed through,
    Death’s Road doesn’t care.
    Everyone will remember,
    Your brave fierce fight,
The dying of your heart’s ember,
    During the night.

    You travelled down Death’s Road,
    To an uncertain fate,
    Now you have strolled,
    Through heaven’s golden gate.

    My heart is bleeding,
    Dying inside,
    And I am pleading,
    To be by your side.
    With you in Heaven,
    With you in Hell,
    I want to be leaving,
    Everyone as well.
    But I’ll stay behind,
    And clean up the mess,
    I feel so confined,
    And in so much distress.

My love only belonged to you,
    For you my heart beat,
I remember what we’ve been through,
    And how we met.
    I was alone,
    And you set me free,
    You have shown,
    How I should be.
    My love for you,
    It will never die,
    I know this is true,
    Because I still cry
    Yeah I'm free...
    Free falling...

written last year. I like the first two stanzas, but that's about it...

    If Walls Could Whisper

    If walls could whisper,
    They’d tell many tales,
    They’d talk of people,
    Of unreal fables,
    They’d talk of lands.
    Of far distant places,
    Of times before us,
    Of many faces,

    They’d whisper about,
    Life long ago,
    When time was so young,
When the world was so slow,
    They’d tell many stories,
    Of love and of war,
    They’d whisper,
    About many things galore.

They’d talk of the good times,
    And of the bad,
    Whisper who’s lonely,
    Depressed and sad.

    A wall is unmoving,
    Watches with still eyes,
    They’d stand there and listen,
    To many mournful cries.
    They’ve seen all the death,
All the hurt and the pain,
    They’ve seen all the crazy,
    Sick and insane.

    If walls could whisper,
    They’d tell many lies,
    They hide on the inside,
    And wear a disguise.

    A wall supports others,
    Stands strong and tall,
But if it’s broken on the inside,
    It too shall fall,
    Crumble away,
    Into nothing but powder,
    Lying still it can hear,
    The shouts getting louder.

    A wall only listens,
    Never says a word,
    Because if walls could whisper,
    Their stories will be heard.
    Yeah I'm free...
    Free falling...

Can't remeber how old this one is...

    It Calls Me

I hear the ringing of a bell,
    The calling of my name,
    From deep down in hell,
    This makes me feel sane.
    I have an urge again,
    To travel around,
    Something I must claim,
Or I’ll fall to the ground.
    I’ve forgot,
    Who I name,
    But the calling,
    It has not.

    So clear,
    So bold,
    It is calling my name.
    Calling me,
    Calling me,
    To come home again.
    My life is unsettling,
    Disturbing,
    But free.
    The type of person,
    Who I want to be.

    The calling,
    It asks me to follow,
    Something big to do,
    So fear I must swallow.
Somebody knows just who I am,
Even if they never met me,
    It is my plan.

    To leave,
    To grow,
    To laugh,
    And to learn.
    The world is out there,
And it is something that I yearn.
    It burns,
    Deep inside of my soul.
It’s something that makes me feel peaceful,
    And whole.
So no matter where I am,
    The calling will happen,
    Make me a plan.
    Yeah I'm free...
    Free falling...

this a a VERY old poem.
    ^-^

    Confusing Life:

    Misery,
    Is dreadful,
    Like that of a disease.

    Making,
    You fall and hug
    Your sore knees.

    Weeping,
    In the dark,
    Feeling all alone,

    Nobody,
    To protect you,
    As you roam.

    Dawn,
    To dusk,
    Your life is gone.

    Everything,
    You believed,
    Is actually wrong.

    Truth,
    Is hard to find,
    In your sad life.

    People,
    You have loved,
    Have brought you horrible strife.
    You
    Are alone,
    Yet you don’t care.

    Life,
    Is around you,
    Full of love and flare.

    Walking,
    Down the road,
    To doom.

    Going,
    To your,
    Eternal tomb.

    Suddenly,
    You realise,
    That life is mean.

    You,
    Feel like,
    You are living a dream.

    Sleeping,
    In your,
    Everlasting rest.

    Until,
    You accomplish,
    Life’s tough quest.

    Running,
    You come,
    To a crossroad.

    Unsure,
    Of which,
    Way to go.

    So,
    Confusing,
    Hurting your brain.

    You,
Feel like you have been run over,
    By a train.

    Then,
    You know,
    That life out it here.

    So,
    You can conquer,
    The greatest fear.

    The,
    Unknown.
    Leaves you feeling,
    All alone.
    Makes you wish,
    You were at home.
    Leaves you,
    On your own,
    Makes you feel like,
    You haven’t grown,
    Makes you shiver,
    And groan.
    Yeah I'm free...
    Free falling...

this is an old, but still favoured one... I believe I wrote it as Haiku style

    Night Demon

    Flying in the Sky,
    Dark as a midnight Shadow,
    Evil on its face.

    Something so scary,
    Wants to devour us all,
    Dark as death itself.

    Lurking in the dark,
    Watching us through a window,
    As we gently sleep.

    Creeps around the homes,
    Slinking into our bedrooms,
    Wants to kill us all.

    Biting at our throats,
    Drinking our succulent blood,
    Chewing at our flesh.

    This creature can’t die,
    Yet it cannot live either,
    Wants to kill us all.

    It devours us,
With a cruel gleam in its eyes,
    As evil as death.

    There is no place safe,
Where you can hide from the dark,
    Soon you shall be dead.

    The horror of death,
    Is so horrible to see,
    Yet this beast still kills.

    Many people die,
In the claws of the Dark Beast,
    Nothing we can do.
    No hero will come,
    Nobody wants to stop it,
    No one will help us.

    One day it will go,
And people shall live in peace,
    Because it’s not there.

    A hero shall rise,
They shall strike the Dark Best down.
    Saving us from death.

    But when will they come?
When shall they save us from it?
    How long must we wait?
    Yeah I'm free...
    Free falling...
