Kindness of a Stranger!

I work at a convenience store in Auburn. I was working on Saturday, April 23, 2011 when a gentleman came in to pay for his gasoline. When he finished paying, he handed me a $20 bill that he wanted me to put towards either a senior citizen and/or a veteran who was paying cash for gasoline that day. Within an hour, a senior citizen/veteran pulled up and started pumping gasoline. Imagine his shock and surprise when I told him it was his lucky day - that a total stranger wanted to pay $20 towards his gasoline because he was a senior citizen and/or a veteran. He politely told me that he was also a veteran, serving in several wars. He was so shocked but very, very thankful. This put a spring in my step for the rest of the day just knowing I had a part in this also. I just wanted to say THANK YOU to the kind gentleman who made someone else's today!!!!!!!!!!!
