You know, they could have waited until Dean Kruse wrote the editorial for them. Wait, is Paul Oakes available?
Funny how the poll gives nothing but Tea Party answers.
"What would help you most?"
Reduction of government spending
Reduction of government spending/closing of tax "loopholes"
Less government. Period.
No change.
I know KPC has its bias, but it's usually hidden better than this.
What about:
"Raise taxes on the wealthy"?
"End the Bush tax cuts"?
"Get out of Iraq"?
Seems those three would do a hell of a lot more to improve our economy than the **** stuff.
Yes, I know there's a minor bone tossed with the tax loopholes, but it still included reduction of spending, which is something many, many citizens don't want or need.

The Pope of Ball Lake has been awfully quiet ever since the Trine initiative got turned down. It must have put him in a quandary - he had to either come out as being a true Tea Partier (thus against it), or as being pro-business (for it). Either way, he would end up looking hypocritical.
Well, it looks like the original poll that started this thread has been changed, so the matter is moot.

I have to agree that pulling out of the war should have been an option. Don't you think the "closing the loophole" option covers the "Raise taxes on the wealthy" and "End the Bush tax cuts"? if you end the tax cuts you are raising their taxes. Unless you are referring to wanting not only end the cuts but also raise their taxes.
The original poll question didn't separate "Reduction of government spending" and "closing of tax loopholes"; it combined the two.
I don't agree we should cut government spending. So in that poll, choosing that answer would have indicated, wrongly, that I support cutting spending.
Every one of those answers was a ****'er answer (except, perhaps, the last one, which would hardly be the liberal answer).

I don't know about that, but if you have any suggestions, please email them to graceh@kpcnews.net
