HA! I don't agree 100% with anyone! And I like all of you. I have to say it again, ....I seriously like all of you, but this left/right thing isn't making it. It's the quagmire that keeps the status quo the status quo. You've all been 'Melvin-ed'.... And it doesn't matter if the underwear jerked up over your heads are embossed with FOX or MSNBC "news", or whatever Mc-ideology-viewpoint.
Divide and Conquer works very effectively. That's WHY our divisive, duplicitous media, our various religions and 'sub-religions', our us and them at every turn and level........................
We are a nation in utter decay......And I guess we'll all just play along.
If I haven't said it before I'll say it now, ..... This country will DIE of it's ambivalence and fabricated 'divisions'....pointing fingers at every bogeyman- real and imagined, and nobody really knows WTF...... We're in serious trouble here.

Very well said Mr. Douglas. As Americans we celebrate with pride the wisdom and strengths of our forefathers. Our nation needs these same qualities once again from us. No matter whether, left or right, religious or not, it is time for all of us to put aside our biases and make our choices based on what is best for our nation and our people as a whole if we want to preserve our freedoms.

If this were an easy task, all countries would live with the privileges we experience as Americans. Obviously...they do not.

Yeater was the original bully. There were never any legal ramifications for her false aligations. I don't fault the kid.

i'm sick of these performers traveling all over the country having sex and illegitimate kids without responsibility. this is what's wrong with our country. people like that can shove-it.

What you fail to realize is that a lot of celebrities pay the person off because they don't want the publicity. But in many of those cases, the celebrity is being blackmailed. In this case it was a case of a person trying to blackmail a celebrity, but it backfired. He didn't pay her off. He took the paternity test and she immediatley dropped the case because she was hoping he'd just pay out. When that didn't happen she knew she was risking reverse charges.

BS i've seen it a 1000 times. i used to be a promoter for concerts and sporting events. i've seen how these guys act on the road. they are all the same. that girl is just one of the hundreds of others that these mobile baby factories seed each year. it's sickening. this is what's wrong with our society. they need to lock these deadbeats up. they will never change.

I would not blame Todd's quote posting on his creation, that version was widely published on many sites. Misquotes happen far too often, it's a shame we need to run Snopes and/or FackCheck against most reports to confirm them and it gets double frustrating when those 2 disagree.

BTW, I haven't seen Todd posting lately? Hopefully, we haven't lost him.

Could be someone called his credentials false without any proof! He will be missed, and his level headed responses will be greatly missed. The real problem in this political world we now live in is the attacks on a personnel level, we are all guilty of them, and they are most often used when there is no real proof. And Homey, you say you have responded to your false statements, but I clearly remember you not responding when I or others have caught you red handed.

Okay Blue, where is your proof that I made false statements and was caught red-handed? Personally, I think Todd quit because he was good at dishing it out, but couldn't take it in return. Also, I don't think I ever said he was not a lawyer, only that I had my suspicions and I further stated it didn't matter to me if he was or was not a lawyer. Just so you won't be annoyed this will be my last post about Todd, it was his decision to leave the fence post for whatever reason.

I am most disappointed to hear this news. I enjoyed Todd's postings and felt he added intelligent input to the FP. Loosing Todd is a loss to the FP, in my opinion. I've never felt for a moment that he had misrepresented himself on here. Unless someone has actual proof, accusations such as this are harmful and destructive to all of us.

It is most obvious to me that Todd reposted a quote from Obama on Republican Rep. Virginia Foxx. Now the fact that our President misquoted her does NOT reflect on Todd.


Approx a yr ago, I had someone make a false accusation by PM informing other members on FP that I had visited his workplace and attempted to cause him to loose his employment to other members on FP. I was extremely offended, angry, and considered filing slander charges against the individual. It just so happened at that time my place of employment carried high security cameras on all of us and it would not have been difficult for me to prove my whereabouts by video date/time and also co-workers statements. After several members of FP who had received this message informed me they did not believe this fellow, I decided to let it go. My point is spreading misinformation, calling people liars, etc reflects negatively on the source of misinformation.

Are we not capable on here to carry on constructive dialog without resorting to name calling? Blue, I understand you anger much better now.

I like to chime in on here, not all the time but often enough. Admittedly, I'm not one to typically write a 'book-report' and provide 50 links to everything I write of all the time.
But maybe, we should adopt a philosophy of- "That which can be asserted without evidence can be rejected without evidence.", and see if perhaps our discussions become a little more amicable and productive.......nevermind.......
