Car On Display At "Back Home Again In Angola" Indy 500 Challenge
Mother Nature graced us with a nice day on Sunday April 29th. This 1911 Marmon Wasp Replica was on display on the Public Square in Angola,IN. from 10am-2:30pm. It's a replica of the very 1st Indianapolis 500 winner back in 1911. The real car is in the Indianapolis Motor Speedway museum. This car was built by Jerry Vincentini. The car is on display at The National Military History Center & Automotive Museum in Auburn,IN. along I-69 at exit 126. It was transported to and from Angola by member's of The Northeastern Indiana Racing Museum which is located inside the same building.
