    Default Road Construction in Auburn

It is that time again "ORANGE BARRELS". State Road 8 is adding a lane at CR 15. The new run off sewage line down 7th Street. The completion of Cleveland St. for the school buses. But for the life of me I can't understand why did the city repaved the Village of Duesenburg? There are only 72 homes back there and if you take the national average of 3.5 per household thats 252 people. One of those homes belongs to our Mayor, in fact his cal da sac was done first. If you drive on roads such as Grandstaff or Duesenburg Dr. or Ceder St. on even the road in front of the Mayor office. These roads have way more traffic then the Village of Duesenburg and are in worst shape. So why did the mayor fix his road first. I think it is time to put someone in office who looks out for the best of Auburn. And repaving the Village of Duesenburg only help the 72 homes back there. That is not a thru road. Its also time to replace the "yes" people uptown and get a unit that is looking out for the best of all of us , just not the elite few...

I'm not sure, but I'm thinking perhaps that addition has a home owners association, where they may pay for their own road maintenance with their fees.
