What? No intelligent discussion? no glib retort? No, they do it too? I would condemn any side that shoots at people that are throwing stones, unless they are cornered and their life is in jeopardy. Or, is this not worthy of your comment?
I thought I would post this here, even if the post is dead, so that religious nuts can see what the jewish media is keeping from you.

I didn't know about it until you did and I can't comment on a pending case!!!!!
Ahhh! So I am the one that is responsible for the death of the fence Post. Hmmm? Seems to me that I am not the onlyiest one to twist words Homey. I seem to remember you also twisting, and LB, and all the rest. But, if you wish to place the honour on my shoulders, so be it!

By the way, there is no way you can answer for the Jewish settlers gunning down a rock throwing Palestinian. Any such attempt, would disprove your theory, and prove mine!

Like to see what happen before the incident, a two and half minute clip hardly tells a complete story. It was reported that a settler was attacked by a protester with a knife prior to the shootings. I realize it's hearsay evidence since I was not there, but I also realize that the whole incident could have been staged, therefore I will reserve judgement and not condemn or condone either side.

this is what i found out about how it started

Got up this morning to see if there were any replies, and imagine that. I reread the whole post, Homey, and It still looks like you are accusing me of twisting the truth and killing the Post, at least that is what you are implying. I look at it differently. I say the people out there that make accusations without backing them up, or retracting them is what killed the Post. I.E. where is this supposed Protester with a knife? Where is this different picture? It looks to me that this is a clear case of Jewish settlers killing with impunity, the very thing that started this whole middle eastern problem.

For what it's worth, you need to re-read this article, because it is NOT about the issue you said it was. This article says, "a similar incident from last week in which a video distributed by an anti-settlement group appeared to show a settler shooting and wounding a Palestinian during a confrontation with rock-throwing Palestinians, as soldiers stood by."
In other words, there are two distinct incidents, and they are different.

I will admit, the man didn't die. But he was shot. As you do not condone such actions, and they continue to happen to Palestinians in a greater number, what is your conclusion? Should I inundate the Post with articles where Palestinians were killed? there are quite a few ya know.I am just tired of the US backing a regime that slays, yes slays, women and children, and then cries foul when it happens to them. I am also tired of spending more on them than all the other countries that we give to.
One last question, since we are splitting hairs, do ya think he was just trying to get his attention by shooting him?

Since you are such a level headed person Nathan, I will ask you the question I really want answered. Why is it that the religious right backs israel no matter what atrocities they commit? Why doesn't the religious community see what these people are doing?

I don't think it's wise to speculate.
When you assume you can read the minds of everyone involved, you end up incredibly close-minded to the possibility that you may actually be wrong.
As for me, I don't claim to know his motive, so to answer your question, No, I don't think one way or the other. I don't have the facts nor do I pretend to have them.

I was honestly looking for dialogue. The fact that we do not see eye to eye means very little. The question however stands as there is no reason anyone can give to allow one group to try and wipe out another. The Israelis shout very loud that the Muslims want to wipe them out, while at the same time they are systematically killing Palestinians on their own land. Kinda like us with the American Indian.

Nathan, I believe if you could answer Blue's question, you should be setting in a much higher position of International government wherein you could influence these matters.
It is very difficult to watch Israel intrude onto lands that were designated by law to belong to Palestine, burn their homes and businesses down so that they can develop Jewish communities upon land that is illegally being taken by Israel. Do I believe Palestine is totally innocent of crimes...NO! Plenty of blame and guilt to pass around that land. Yet when we are able to see on live TV armed soldiers shooting at men who are only armed with rocks, we all must understand the imbalance. My belief is that because of the strong ties between the Christian faith and the Jewish religion, Americans have chosen to turn a blind eye at what we would normally declare crimes of war in any other conflict.
Israel has the blind eyes of prejudice because their belief teaches them that ALL of this area of land belongs to them. USA has blind eyes because our Christian faith teaches us that our roots to one God is the same God as the one the Jews worship. (We just believe they need an awakening to realize that Jesus has already came). I am no expert regarding the religious beliefs in Palestine, it is my understanding that they also believe in the same God that we believe in, yet they also don't accept Jesus as anything more than a prophet. So what we have is the blind leading the blind in this case. Perhaps blind faith is not a constructive ingredient in this case?
Boundries were established by law, perhaps applying the rule of law that should apply equally to all concerned would be a constructive place to begin? Yet...the prejudices that exists are preventing this.![]()

I will assume that since no one other than Nathan wants to contribute, it means they do not care to debate this issue, or they do not wish to converse with me. Either way, what a shame, the facts are pretty clear, if you put in Jewish settler shoots Palestinian, you get numerous hits, and almost all are against unarmed, or poorly armed Muslims, makes ya proud to be pro-Israeli I would think.
