Isreal always runs under Uncle Sam's coat when someone calls foul. I think they have been victim long enough and should be able to defend theirselves AND meet all inspection requirements that all the rest of the nuclear community must observe. Just a reminder, remember the U.S.S. LIBERTY incident of June 8, 1967? 34 dead American sailors and it only cost Isreal 12 million dollars. If all I had to defend my family was rocks, I'd still throw them, albeit in a more intelligent fashion. The point is still, how can you defend the Israeli's?
