    Default Auburn Essential Services

Does anyone have phone and internet from AES yet? If so how is the service? Better or worse than others? And does anyone have the TV package that I believe is in beta testing? I’m looking for some feedback to help decide if it’s worth waiting for to make a change. Thanks!

If the choice is between Mediacom and two tin cups linked by a piece of string, you're better off with the cups.

I have Mediacom(no other choice where I live) and I'm pretty sure if you just had the cups and omitted the string you would still be better off.

Please, Oh Please send AES Garrett's way. Mediacom is beyond words. My internet connection rests at least 6 times a day. Each time I call them about it. I get the same answer. We reset your modem and you should be good now. We are showing you with blah blah blah good connection.

Frontier is better, but that's not saying much.

Admittedly, it's been a couple months since I've been regularly disconnected, but after they purchased Verizon's business in the area, my DSL suffered from regular disconnects which, while maybe only lasting one or two minutes at a time, is CRIPPLING for an online gamer like myself.

This past month has been horrific for me with Mediacom. My cable service has been fine, however, the internet and phone service has been up & down constantly.

They are being nice enough to not charge me for these days with unreliable service and I appreciate this. I would appreciate stable service much more. I get frustrated...even angry...then, I click on the news and look at all the troubled lives of those innocents being blown up and/or shot in the middle east and I try to put my problem in perspective. Would I be happy to have 100% reliable service....you bet!! Not happening here in SE corner of DeKalb.

Yeah, bad Internet, phone or cable are certainly "First World Problems", but still...

    To hell with Mediacom!
