I think I'm getting soft in my old age. Although I won't be voting for Romney in November, I almost felt sorry for him this week. The guy couldn't keep his foot out of his mouth - whether it was politicizing the embassy attack, telling a Live! with Kelly and Michael audience that he's a Snooki fan and likes to sleep in "as little as possible" or blowing it in an interview when asked about the middle class. "Is $100,000 middle income?"George Stephanopolous asked. Romney answered, "Nope, middle income is $200-250,000 and less."

If you believe everything you read on the Fence Post you would swear that President Obama had a double digit lead over Governor Romney, but if you look at the polls it's a 3 to 5 point swing either way. Looking forward to the debates, especially staring Joe "The Gaffe Man" Biden.

I am very much looking forward to the debates also. Perhaps it is my age showing here...but an Obama/Romney debate is far more entertaining to me than the thoughts of Snookie's next episode.

Has anyone on the fence post said anything to that effect?

I'm pretty sure we all know that ANY race between Dems/reps is going to be a 3 to 5'er. While we might all disagree with what we think the world SHOULD BE, I think we all pretty much agree with what it IS.
