Waterloo has a new church!
NEW LIFE LUTHERAN CHURCH had their first service in Waterloo on October 28, 2012.
The church is located at 365 Lockhart St.(one block off Center St and one block north of US 6)
New Life Lutheran Church held their first service on June 17,2012 at one of our member's homes, southeast of Auburn.
From June 24 to October 21 we met at Feller and Clark Funeral Home in Auburn.
The Waterloo building was originally a Nazarene Church built in 1947 with a large fellowship hall addition in 1969.
Since we purchased it we have put on a new roof and have new siding coming any day now. Its actually sitting in the fellowship hall waiting for the siding crew!
When it is installed the church will be beautiful!
Meanwhile we have done a lot of work on the inside.
We may be the first Lutheran Church in Waterloo although someone said their may have been on in late 1800's.
New Life Lutheran Church is a member of The Lutheran Congregations in Mission for Christ (LCMC) based in Canton, Mi.
Our Sunday worship is at 10:30 am and usually lasts one hour. We have Jr. Church for those in 5th grade and younger.
All youth get a candy bar every Sunday!
We always have fellowship time refreshments following worship.
December 24 we will worship at 7:30 pm.
We love to have visitors!
