This year, 2007, marks the 70th anniversary of the last class of LaOtto High School. The high school existed from 1902 to 1937. I remember the old brick schoolhouse, which was torn down in 1992. From 1937 until 1965 the first eight grades were taught in that building. The present elementary school was opened in 1965. Does anyone know if there are any LaOtto High School graduates still alive? I guess the youngest alumni would in their late 80s. Does anyone have any memories of the old building?
