O'Bannon Woods hosts outdoor skills workshop PDF Print E-mail

CORYDON — Learn to throw an atlatl, tan hides, identify venomous snakes and more at the June 16 outdoor skills workshop at O’Bannon Woods State Park.

The workshop will be great for families and scout groups and focuses on ways to make summer adventures safe and exciting. 

There will also be programs on horsemanship, backpacking, ATVs, firearms safety, geocaching, fire starting, canoeing, kayaking, fishing and birding.

The workshops will be at Pine Pond from 1-4 p.m.

Admission to the workshop is free. The standard park entrance fee of $5 per in-state vehicle and $7 per out-of-state vehicle applies.

O’Bannon Woods is at 7234 Old Forest Rd. Corydon, 47112.
