While visiting Rome City this Memorial Day weekend, 8-year-old Austin Hart and his brother 9-year-old Dylan Hart, both of Fort Wayne, went fishing Monday morning with grandpa. Austin, left, caught this 15 1/2-inch big mouth with a red worm on his little Spider Man fishing pole on the upper basin of Sylvan Lake by Boy Scout Island. The fish was released unharmed.

West Noble Middle School student Trey Waring caught these bass in a lake in Noble County.

Amy Yarian of Garrett took the Big Bass honors at the TNT bass tournament Tuesday night at Sylvan Lake. Amy’s fish weighed 3 pounds, 15 ounces.
