The town of Ontario sits just south of S.R. 120 and north of C.R. 400N.
Among its attractions are its large community park and its proximity to
the Pigeon River, which flows through the northern border of the town,
and the state-run Pigeon River Fish and Wildlife Area — one of the
most popular hunting areas in Indiana — starts just to the east of
the town.
Ontario has a tax rate of $2.2070 per $100 of assessed valuation.
